Cacoo has been updated – Tables, Link with Google Drive and much more!

Dear Cacoo user:

We upgraded Cacoo earlier today and we would like to inform you of the changes that are a part of this update.

Insert Table easily

Insert table easily

Just pressing a button on the toolbar, you can insert Table into your diagram.
Here are some tips about using table in the Cacoo diagrams:

Select the Table and show the tool box for the Table. Add rows and columns or move cells from this toolbox.
Edit text in the Table by double clicking the Table or pressing F2 key while the Table is selected. You can move on to next cells by pressing Tab (Shift+Tab).
All cells on the Table can be selected by dragging a region around the Table. This will come in handy when you want to change the Table's style.

Link with Google Drive

Integration with Google Drive

Now you can save your Cacoo diagrams on Google Drive or share your diagrams with your friends and colleagues using Google Drive's share functionality.

Export to Google Drive option has been added. No troublesome steps, such as exporting your diagrams to your desktop and uploading to Google Drive, any more.

Access all editing menus even on a smaller screen

For those who couldn't see all buttons on the toolbar while using Cacoo on smaller monitors, the menu has been added on the upper left corner of the editing page so that you can access all functionalities.

You might find features and shortcut keys that you didn't know about from this new menu, too.

Please try it.

Optimized diagrams on smartphones

Better viewing diagrams experience on smartphones.
Tap on the diagram preview and slide on it to see sheets easily.

Other improvements

Change title, description and privacy setting without opening the editing page.
All editing operations on Cacoo are saved automatically. The saving status is shown at the lower right corner of the editing page.
Moving to different pages or changing sorting order on the diagram list page became faster.

※ For Google Chrome users

We are aware that users are experiencing issues on the editing page when using Cacoo on Google Chrome. We are researching and trying to resolve the issue. For the meantime, if you are having a problem, changing Google Chrome setting might solve the problem. Please refer this blog post for details.

We are going to add features requested by our users and improve Cacoo even more in the upcoming updates.

Thank you Cacoo! Your program was among the very few that seemed to be worth paying for (i.e., to have a real Visio-like program in the Cloud). I started a personal subscription a few weeks ago and have been very happy. Even a question I had about some functionality I thought wasn’t working (turned out it was me, not the app ) was answered very quickly and with a great tone and attitude by Jenny (I believe, forgive me if I have name or spelling wrong) with your support team. There were some features I thought the program really needed to “get to the next level” and you’ve just added them all! Great job and thank you for continuing to support your application with enthusiasm and dedication. It makes all the difference between a one-time customer and a long-time, loyal customer when we can see how much the company and development and support teams care about their work and product (no offense to those on the marketing side of things – but your enthusiasm for a product doesn’t really count when evaluating these things as a customer ).

Didn’t mean to go on so long, but I’m glad to share my appreciation and satisfaction as one of your customers.

Still loving the new update! Now that’s I’ve had a day or so to use the new features, I had a couple of observations, questions, and/or suggestions. Assuming you would like such feedback, how should I send it to you? Should I post stuff here as a comment to the update announcement? or in the forums? or just in an email to support or someone at Cacoo directly?

Será que eu, acabado de chegar, que apenas conheço esta aplicação pela publicidade tenho alguma ideia precisa do que isto é?
Será que isso me ajuda ou dificulta a avançar rapidamente como utilizador?
Porque não se chega á brilhante conclusão de ter aqui à mão uma sístese explicativa em video para ignorantes como eu ?
A prendizagem em qualquer idade parte sempre de uma ideia global par a análise das respetivas partes constitutivas.
Ou seja o vídeo com uma lista de tarefas possíveis explicadas uma a uma? Não é?
Eu não tenho nem o tempo nem a motivação para perder aqui a brincar com comandos como um adolescente a estudar jogos e a imaginar-se um génio.
Francamente?
Sejamos práticos e já agora um pouco mais ciêntificos também.
