Dear Cacoo users:

We upgraded Cacoo earlier today and we would like to inform you of the changes that are a part of this update.

Now you can create customized stencils on Cacoo.

To have your own stencils, all you need is save your diagram as stencil by selecting its type as “Stencil” in the Save panel. Drawings on each sheet will be recognized as separate stencils, and they’ll be shown in in your Stencil panel.

Besides, created stencils can be shared with other users. You and your team members can create diagrams using the same stencils.

This video shows the flow for importing SVG files (discussed in the next section) and creating stencils. Please check this out.

Furthermore, we are planning to open Cacoo Store this fall.
Cacoo Store is going to be the unique online store where users can publish and sell your own stencils and templates. Don’t miss it!

* Please note that there are some SVG formats that are not supported.
* For faster import, please select not to include application information when you are saving the diagram on other drawing application.

Better Stencil panel

Renewed Stencil panel design – Stencil categories are in tree directory so that you can find stencils you need quickly. Besides, stencils you’ve used recently can be accessed from the Recent stencils list.

Misc

• Fixed some bugs for simultaneous editing. Users had slightly different diagrams or had errors while editing one diagram in real time. This bug has been taken care of.
• Improved Preview on diagram detail page. Diagrams in preview are displayed in the same size as the original.

We are going to add features requested and improve Cacoo even more in the next update.
